Tools: heat gun and jewelry pliers, cutters and round nose pliers

  1. Ink one of the flower portions and a bit of the surrounding scroll area of the stamp using ColorBox® Archival Dye Wicked Black ink and stamp on the brushed matte side of one oval nameplate. Use heat gun to set the ink.
  2. Ink the other flower area of the stamp and stamp on the other oval nameplate. Use heat gun to set the ink.
  3. Ink a scroll portion of the stamp and stamp design on a scalloped circle. Set the ink using heat gun and then repeat for other scalloped circle.
  4. Use the 3 Smooch® pink colors to fill in flowers: Sassy Pink at the base of each petal, Taffy at the center and Shabby Pink for outer edges. Let each color overlap and blend slightly. Set aside to dry completely or use heat gun to speed up dry time. HINT: Don’t let acrylic get too hot if using heat gun. Keep gun moving and keep at least 4-5” above acrylic. Heat 10 seconds or so and then let sit. The residual heat that the acrylic absorbs will help dry ink. Smooch® ink will bubble if heated too long.
  5. Use Smooch® Luscious Lime ink to fill in leaves on ovals and scalloped circles; set aside to dry or heat set as described above. Use Smooch® Silver Fox to paint over black ink portions of pieces, using a small swirl motion; set aside to dry or heat set as described above.
  6. Working on one piece at a time, apply a drop of Liquid Laminate™ to each piece, using your finger to gently dab glue to spread. Set aside to dry completely. Remove protective brown backing from all pieces.
  7. Insert head pin in pink bead, trim wire to ¾” above bead and use round nose pliers to form loop at top. Repeat for other bead. Attach beads to bottom hole in ovals.
  8. Use jump rings to attach scalloped circles to ovals. Also, Use jump ring to attach ear wires to top hole in scalloped circles. {Depending on design, you may have to twist the loops of the ear wires ¼ turn so they will be orientated correctly}
