Daily chores won’t seem so bland when they’re kept in this cheery notebook.



  • Design Adhesives: Hawaiian Hibiscus
  • Top Boss Embossing Clear Inkpad
  • Top Boss Embossing Powder: Honey Pearl, Lullaby Blue, Pistachio, Red, Verdigris


  • Blue: 5” x 7”
  • Red: 5” x 7”; 4 ¾” x 7”
  • Natural: 2 ½” x 7”
  • Brown: 2 ¾” x 7”

Other Materials Used:

  • Mead: Notebook
  • Square Hole Punch
  • Assorted Ribbons
  • American Craft: Red Vinyl Thickers


  1. Remove front and back covers from notebook.
  2. Adhere the 5” x 7” piece of blue cardstock to the front cover, punch holes using square punch. Apply the 5” x 7” piece of red cardstock to the back of the front cover and punch holes again.
  3. Adhere the 4 ¾” x 7” piece of red cardstock just below the holes of the back cover.
  4. Adhere the 2 ¾” x 7” piece of brown cardstock to the upper portion of the front cover as shown.
  5. Cut apart the motifs from the Design Adhesives pattern. Adhere and emboss the pieces to the 2 ½” x 7” piece of natural cardstock as listed below. Use an intact Design Adhesive as a guide for placement.
  6. Adhere large hibiscus flowers and emboss with Red
  7. Adhere small flowers and hibiscus stamens and emboss with Honey Pearl
  8. Adhere large leaves and emboss with Verdigris
  9. Adhere small flowers and emboss with Pistachio
  10. Use a cotton swab dipped on the Embossing Pad to add dots to centers of small flowers, then emboss with Lullaby Blue
  11. Adhere embossed strip to front of notebook.
  12. Adhere vinyl “notes” letters to lower right as shown.
  13. Reattach front and back covers and embellish with ribbons.
